Puppy Foundation (using Zoom video conferencing with Kerri)

Our Puppy Foundation class is our entry level class for puppies 8 - 16 weeks old at start of class and unless otherwise stated, run for 3 x 1 hour sessions. This class is with Kerri.

The socialisation period is critically important for the behavioural health of our dogs and this class will provide advice on how to capitalise on this key developmental period, especially during this period of restriction and provide the foundations of the core training skills. If your dog meets the age criteria for this class, then we highly recommend this as the best class to start your puppy's journey.

With the wonders of modern technology, we have been able to provide live streamed classes where our skilful and friendly trainers using Video Conferencing Software (Zoom) will show you how to train your puppy using positive training techniques that make learning fast, fun, and motivating… for all of you! Family members of all ages are always welcome in our online classes.

The advantages of using technology are many and include:

• We can provide key training, enrichment and advice during 'Lock down'
• We will be with you live in front of you, just as it would be if we came to your home
• We can work with you even if you do not live near our physical venues
• It will save you time and money (no travel)
• It will be much more convenient for you
• It can be much less stressful for you and your dog 

Our Puppy Foundation class includes:

• Basic Obedience – sit, down, stay, leave, come here
• Play Skills - Understanding and managing puppy play
• Social Skills – how to socialise your puppy
• All Things Puppy – nipping, chewing, house training, and how to deal with these issues in a positive way

During the class we will use 'Zoom' for the live streamed classes (instructions will be provided before class starts). Classes will be supported by email plans and videos.

In addition to classes, we offer a range of support using video conferencing. This technology works well with 1-1 training and behaviour problems such as Separation Anxiety, Resource Guarding, Aggression Towards People, House Training, Muzzle Training, Puppy Problems and session follow-ups, to name but a few.
